South West Aberdeenshire Citizens Advice Bureau is a Charity registered in Scotland (No. SC037679) and was incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee (No. SC365959) in September 2009.
Directors/Trustees are generally recruited from residents through advertising and word of mouth recommendations.
The Board of Trustees is elected by bureau member each year at our Annual General Meeting.
The Board of Trustees meets at least five times a year to decide the overall direction of the bureau, and have responsibility for financial resources, fundraising and feeding policy issues up to Citizens Advice Scotland which acts as the national voice of member bureaux.
The 2021-2022 Annual Report and accounts were approved at the General Meeting on 9th November 2022.
